I just made the switch for FF7 on mobile devices a few moments ago. This is a consolidated version of all 3 discs so it’s a really large file to download (roughly 1.5GB if I’m not mistaken). If this work well enough, I’ll start updating the remaining multi disc games for Playstation
I encountered a black screen that wouldn’t change after loading the game data. The solution to get the game running was to simply click the “Restart” icon in the game player UI. It should load right away after that.
I’ve yet to test disc switching so this may be an issue. I’m willing to do my best to get to disc 2 in a decent amount of time. If anyone else gets there before I can, please let us know if you’re able to switch discs
