Final Fantasy 8 Failure to Load

Final Fantasy VIII will only work in the Fireox browser from what I’ve experienced so far. I tried Opera, Edge and Chromium and all fail to load the game. I tried on my desktop (Pop_OS!) and my phone (Android 14) and still, only Firefox allows me to start the game. All other browser fallback to the emulator back-end.

This happening with anyone else?

I noticed an influx of traffic to the broken game so that ain’t good. I’ll revert it back to the desktop only version for now.
