Legend of the dragoon freeze Home of the Gigantos disc 2

On disc 2 after the virage fight when i go to enter the Home of the Gigantos i get a black screen. what should i do?

@denfons11, have you tried updating your drivers to the most recent ones on your laptop computer?

yes all my drivers are up to date. also tried it on my desktop and laptop still get the freeze :S
